Mr & Mrs Salter

My Brother in Law and now Sister In Law united in marriage on September 23rd.
My darling daughter was honored as their Flower Girl alongside of the Bride's super-cute nephew.

And, my husband was honored to stand beside his brother as he said "I DO" to Samantha.

I had a blast taking John and Sam's Engagement pics, so I knew I was in for more fun at their wedding...Man was I right.  The group of folks that they chose to stand up for them were a HOOT! and I had a blast.  In the midst of it all, I think I ended up capturing some fun and wonderful memories for them.
To the "Other Mr. and Mrs. Salter", congrats and God Bless.

A Very Busy summer

I can hardly believe that August is here already. This has been the fastest year of my life.
2 years ago when i started this business I would have never guessed that I would be booking appointments 2-3 months in advance and be seeing dozens of clients each week.
I also never could have projected just how many families I would see again and again and become friends with.  I love to watch your families grow each year, watch your children take their first steps, celebrate new additions, etc...  Thank you!

Seniors 2012

Senior Portrait Season has begun.
My sessions started out with my niece Danielle.
We started out with some In Studio work.

Then, I took her to Ashcombe Farms to enjoy the gardens and the great ol rusty truck.

We headed to downtown Mechanicsburg to get our city on!  LOL!  

And finally we came back to the studio to take some last minutes in her cheerleading uniform. so Much fun!

4th of July backdrop

The past few weeks have been filled with In Studio shoots with a new Backdrop to celebrate the 4th of July. Although, we have used it to celebrate birthdays and every kid of day. The shoots have been super fun and, although it is the same backdrop, I have managed to capture some unique images each time. Thanks to my customers who have come to enjoy the simple quick shoots.

E's 2012 Senior Portraits

Sunday, I had the pleasure of meeting Elle and her mom at Messiah College for Senior Portraits.
What a beautiful day to shoot, overcast.
And what a lovely young lady to photograph.
Congrats to you Elle and best wishes, as college is just around the corner.

Rock the Dress

My favorite kind of shoot...rock the Dress! a reason to get another shot in your wedding dress.  I highly recommend it. I totally say it is a must if you didnt get alot of time to enjoy yourself at your wedding and get all the great pics that you had hoped for.
And I LOVE a bride that isnt afraid to truly get dirty in their gown.
Amanda was one of these brides.
She asked if she could get in the Yellow Breeches, and I of course said a resounding YES!
We saved that for last.
Childrens Lake was the back-drop for our 7 am shoot this past weekend.
The lighting is perfect this early. I could even do 630 am and be at the peak of good lighting.
Amanda brought along her sister Alesha to keeps us company. She was a big help, especially with this one clump of Amanda's hair that kept swooping in her eyes. LOL!
We had a great time, I think both ladies would agree.

Little M....in 2 takes

Somedays you gotta wake up a little earlier than usual....but it doesnt mean you HAVE to like it!
Little M and her folks met me for pics at 8 am on Saturday, which required an earlier than usual wake up for this cutie pie.
And she let me know, she wasnt happy about it!  LOL!
We still managed to get some super cute family pics at Ashcombe Farms, despite her daddy nearly falling thru a broken log swing.

But I wanted this lil girl to SMILE, so I told her mom and dad to bring her to my studio( aka the dining room) later in the week and see if we could get her to like me. :)

So, she came yesterday. And I think in the end she did decide I wasnt as scary as I was saturday morning.

She didnt want to let go of the ice cream bubbles, but they matched her outfit, so we kept them.

Just So Stacy 1000 LIKES winner

My friend Marcee took Just So Stacy Photography's FB page to well over 1000 fans, and because of it, she won a free session with cd.
She brought along her son Justin, who the last time I saw him was barely a tenneager, and now he is a grown man.
What a wonderful gift for her mom who keeps asking for a picture of her daughter and grandson.
We managed to work outside while my husband took care of our daughter who decided to get sick 40 minutes before Marcee's shoot. Thank goodness she is my friend and just followed right along when I said: "we are going on location, just follow me!"
we went to Trout Run which is right behind my development and managed to get in some good laughs and some great pics.
It is never too late to make your mom happy, Marcee. I hope she likes the pics.
